Nurses have the obligations of taking the blood pressure, pulse and temperature of patients. They also help patients by taking care of them, serving meals, making beds or cleaning rooms. The training for this career is mainly on-the-job.

Dialysis technicians (or renal/ hemodialysis /nephrology technicians) remove excess fluids from the blood of diseased kidneys which can no longer perform this process. This profession requires high school diploma or GED certificate and, of course, the training program.
